In the next few months, UFSFCU will be going through some changes.
The goal of these changes is to improve the quality of service
we provide to you, our members. |
|
First, a new counter will be installed
to improve the confidentiality and overall security of the credit
union office. Second, we will be changing our computer system
on March 1, 1999. With this new system we will be able to improve
our present services and offer additional services. |
|
For example, after the upgrade members will receive a computer-generated
receipt for all transactions completed in the office. A newer,
more robust audio response system will also be available as a
result of the upgrade. Our new system will be a Summit Information
System, which offers the latest in technology and services. This
system will further ensure that your credit union will meet all
Y2K requirements and that all services will not be interrupted
on January 1, 2000.
During the next few months, the office will be going through
renovating and staff training changes. In order to meet the time
frame that has been established, it will be necessary for us
to close the credit union office at noon on the following seven
Wednesdays:
|
January 13, 1999 |
February 3, 1999 |
February 17, 1999 |
|
January 20, 1999 |
February 10, 1999 |
February 24, 1999 |
|
January 27, 1999 |
|
|
The office will also be closed on Monday, March 1, and Tuesday
March 2, 1999, for the changeover of systems. |
|
And, ATM and DAD (audio response) transactions will
not be possible from Friday, February 26, 1999, at 3:00 PM Eastern
Standard Time through Tuesday, March 2, 1999, at 10:00 AM.
We ask for your patience and understanding as we work to accomplish
these changes. We have come to think of the work ahead of us
as the "Seven Steps To New & Improved Service,"
and you should too after all, improved service is what
these improvements and upgrades will allow us to provide. Specifically,
once these projects are complete, we will be in a position to
implement another important change sometime in mid-March: making
your credit union a cash operation.
Thank you in
advance for your consideration.
