Privacy Policy
United Financial Services
Community Federal Credit Union ("UFSFCU") is highly sensitive
to the privacy interests of its members and believes that the protection
of those interests is one of its most significant responsibilities.
In acknowledgment of its obligations, UFSFCU has adopted the following
Privacy Policy applicable to information about members that it acquires
in the course of doing business and providing products and services
to you.
- Information we
collect about you. We collect nonpublic personal information about
you from the following sources:
- Information
we receive from you on applications or other forms
- Information
about your transactions with us, our affiliates or others
- Information
from a consumer reporting agency
- Security of Information.
We have established and continually maintain security standards and
procedures to help us protect you from unauthorized access to your
confidential information, including through the Internet.
- Our Employees
and Privacy. Employees have access to information about members only
to the extent they require it to perform their jobs. UFSFCU limits
that access to the minimum information necessary to provide its services.
- Disclosure to
Third Parties. We may provide nonpublic personal information about
our members to third parties, such as companies who perform services
on our behalf or other financial institutions with whom we have joint
marketing agreements, but only as is necessary and is permitted by
law.
We do not disclose
any nonpublic personal information about our members and former members
to anyone, except as permitted by law, unless otherwise required to
do so by law or if there is express permission of the member.
